Due to go on sale in the UK in July, the estate will complete the 207 line-up along with the three-door, five-door and coupé-cabrio variants. While the Outdoor show car features chunky two-tone body cladding, the production version isn't expected to be quite so bold.
Peugeot says the Outdoor "captures the most significant attributes of the forthcoming SW". The car on the stands gets a panoramic glass roof and split-opening tailgate - both of which will appear on the showroom version. Buyers will also benefit from an even bigger boot than on its 206 SW predecessor, along with a flat-folding 60:40 split rear bench. Orange roof rails will help the Outdoor grab showgoers' attention further.
Chrome body protection features as well, although Peugeot says there are no plans to introduce a rugged version of the SW. Inside, the Outdoor is trimmed with a special fabric which is normally used to make parachutes.
