Now JCB picks up top honour

Famous digger manufacturer JCB has 'scooped' a prestigious award

 To honour its Dieselmax land speed record car, the Royal Automobile Club has awarded the team behindit the Dewar Trophy.

The honour is given for outstanding British technical achievement in the automotive world, and has been presented only 38 times. Last summer, the Dieselmax hit 350mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats in the US. Power came from two specially modified JCB diesel engines.
