Mitsubishi's futuristic 'i' city car will go on sale in the UK this year, the firm has announced

First examples of Mitsubishi's mini hit showrooms on 1 July, in one high-spec trim.

Buyers get climate control, a premium stereo, electric windows, ESP and dual airbags. Power comes from a tiny 64bhp 660cc turbocharged motor mounted below the rear seats and is fed via an electronically controlled four-speed auto. A limited run of only 300 cars will initially be imported, priced at £8,995.
