Follow the lead of the Osbournes and put your Skoda Fabia in the picture

As part of a drive to attract young customers, the maker hopes to give buyers the option of putting a huge picture of their family or friends, or a design of their choice, on the lid of its next Fabia hatch. Skoda already plans to offer a white roof for the new car, and is displaying a Fabia with a silver top and matching wing mirrors at the Geneva Motor Show.
"It should be possible to take a photograph of, say, your new-born baby to the dealer and have it put on the roof," said a spokesman for the firm. "While it's still early days, we're definitely looking into this feature.
"We want our cars to appeal to a younger audience, and are really keen on this unique kind of personalisation. Buyers can already specify different colours for the dashboard and interior trim, so it's simply an extension of that feature."
The service is likely to cost around £350. And while the picture roof is being discussed only for the Fabia at present, Skoda's Yeti 4x4 concept has a white top, suggesting other cars could get the same treatment.
