Kia rewards loyalty and cheaper car insurance for green motorists

26th March 2007

KIA is rewarding customer loyalty with a new initiative. Picanto owners who part-exchange their car for a new model get an extra £500 discount until the end of the month.

The city runabout (above) is approaching its third birthday, and has been the Korean company’s best-selling model since it first arrived in showrooms in 2004.

MOTORISTS who drive eco-friendly cars can now get cheaper insurance, thanks to More Than. The cover provider is offering a 15 per cent discount on policies taken out against manufactured and professionally converted LPG models, plus electric, biopower and dual-fuel cars. More Than had already announced lower prices for hybrid owners in May last year.

IT'S ALREADY the place to go for a rare or unusual motor, but you can now see even more dealer cars on eBay due to a new tie-in. The facility has been set up with Experian, and enables traders who currently use the AutoLocate online scheme to sell models via the auction website.A spokeswoman said: “This will significantly increase access to high-quality vehicles and dealers.”
