Price of potholes soars

UK motorists shell out £320million a year to repair pothole damage to their cars

Insurance specialist Warranty Direct says the figure is 10 times more than the £33million councils spent filling in 589,000 holes last year. Drivers whose vehicles have been affected can visit potholes.co.uk to find addresses of local authorities and tips on claiming compensation.
