Fisker goes power crazy

It’s one of the most exclusive convertibles in the world, with a production run of only 150 models

17th April 2007

But Fisker’s Tramonto isn’t rare enough for some buyers! That’s why the US coachbuilder revealed this incredible 700bhp version at the New York show – and it’s the firm’s fastest production car ever, with a 205mph top speed.

Based on Mercedes’ SL65 AMG, the Tramonto has a bespoke carbon fibre and aluminium body designed by ex-Aston Martin stylist Henrik Fisker. The standard model’s mighty 6.0-litre V12 is uprated from 604bhp to 700bhp, while peak torque is a massive 1,300Nm. Expect the 700bhp car to cost in excess of £225,000.
