The cabin carries on the theme with colour-coded seats, door panels, gearknob and handbrake grip.
The Beetle Cabriolet Red Edition is available in only three paint schemes; beige, white or black. And as the 'Red' refers to the roof, there's no chance of the body in that colour. There will be a wide range of engines, though: petrol units include a naturally aspirated 1.6 or 2.0-litre or a 1.8 turbo with 150bhp, while a 1.9-litre diesel will also be offered. No prices have yet been announced, but expect a slight rise over the standard models on which they are based.
