Superlight sets a ferocious pace

Caterham will be first across the line with its new motorsport-inspired R400 Superlight.

With a 210bhp version of Ford's 2.0-litre Duratec engine, it'll hit 0-60mph in only 3.8 seconds. Tweaks to the suspension and chassis ensure sharper handling, while carbon fibre panels reduce weight.

Prices start at £25,995.
