The people carrier line-up now starts with the Team model, powered by a 138bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine, which is priced at £18,595 - that's £1,200 less than the Authentique version it replaces. The base model comes with dual-zone air-conditioning, a CD radio and heated door mirrors as standard.
Privilège spec has now been re-badged Dynamique S. This flagship model features half-leather sports seats, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, plus rear parking sensors. Prices for the top-spec trim range from £24,140 for the 168bhp 2.0-litre petrol, up to £29,860 for the long-wheelbase Grand version with a 3.0-litre V6 dCi diesel.
All Espace models are available with a new 148bhp 2.0-litre diesel powerplant. Buyers of flagship Dynamique and Dynamique S variants can also get the same oil-burning unit with a 170bhp output. Both of these engines can be specified with a new six-speed automatic gearbox for £1,500.
