UK's most expensive Prius gets kitted out

One owner goes over the top with his Prius spec

19th May 2007

Hybrids such as the Citroen C-Crosser not only help save the environment, but owners cash in, too, in the form of lower fuel bills. With this in mind, one Toyota Prius buyer has splashed out on options - to the tune of £15,000!

He asked dealer Jemca Toyota at Edgware Road, London, to spray the car in a special paint usually reserved for premium brand Lexus. The interior was also re-upholstered in hand-stitched leather, and the work hiked the price from £17,765 to £32,900. Jemca's Roger Hart said: "This must be the most valuable Prius sold in the UK."
