Special Ford GT is black magic

The good news is there are still some available Stateside, and legendary tuner Roush is bringing them to Britain.

Only 10 cars are available, each now badged GT 600RE; they have 600bhp - up from 550bhp - while the letters stand for Roush Europe. This extra power means 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds, while the top speed is restricted to 205mph. There's a new exhaust, tinted glass and unique black alloy wheels. The 600RE is being sold exclusively through Avro Motor Cars in Brooklands, Surrey, and is priced at £141,800 - or £21,000 more than the standard mach­ine. Roush developed the coupé powertrain for Ford, and also converted all the Europe-bound models to meet EU legislation.
