First up, the Swedish company is launching the four-wheel-drive version of its S80 executive saloon with a diesel powerplant - the new 182bhp 2.4-litre D5 - for the first time.
The S80 D5 AWD will be priced from £27,630 for the entry-level SE model, rising to £39,650 for the range-topping Executive. It's available to order now, with first deliveries in early October.
Other revisions to the firm's line-up include MP3 player connectivity and Isofix child seat fixings as standard on all cars, plus a new price for the entry-level S60 saloon. The 2.0-litre S is now £19,995, down by around £400. There are some new eco-friendly Volvos on the way, too, as the firm is set to offer bioethanol engines for the first time on the C30, S40, V50 and V70. The bigger estate is also available with a new 3.0-litre T6 engine with 282bhp.
