Customers can put their name down for one of the sports crossovers at the touch of a button. At www.cx-7order.co.uk buyers can customise their new model by choosing their favourite colour, upholstery and other accessory options. Prices start at £23,960 for the 2.3-litre 254bhp petrol turbo - this will be the only engine on offer.

The new four-wheel-drive model has a top speed of 130mph and a 0-60mph time of eight seconds, and comes with a six-speed manual box. Standard features include 18-inch alloys, xenon headlights, climate control, air-con and cruise control.
