Lighting up ban to extend to drivers?

Smoking behind the wheel could soon be banned as it's a dangerous distraction for drivers

So says the Local Authority Road Safety Officers' Association. Lighting up in public places is already being outlawed on 1 July. But the campaign group says the ban should also be extended to cars. The move is being considered by the Department of Health.
