Dodgems offer all the fun of the fair

For a little harmless driving carnage, check out these remote-controlled cars

They come complete with ‘pick-up’ aerials, and while you’re not going to set any lap records in the battery-powered fairground-style dodgems, you can enjoy battering your rivals. And as with the real thing, the joy doesn’t come from precision steering, but from simply trying to collide with your opponent.

The set has two dodgem cars, plus an inflatable ring with suckers to keep them on the table. So you only need some AA batteries – as well as some candy floss – to recreate all the fun of the fair.
