British Car Auctions (BCA) has launched a dedicated ‘Mini Select’ programme at its Nottingham centre, where around 80 of the fashionable models will go under the hammer every month.
The events are open to both trade and private bidders, with cars supplied from major leasing companies, dealers and even BMW itself. The sales take place on the fourth Wednesday of the month, and at the most recent event,a 2002 02-reg MINI One with 39,000 miles on the clock sold for only £6,200.
A 2004 04-plate MINI One diesel with 56,000 miles fetched £10,600 at the same sale.
