Supermarket price war, fast track spares and pa use down

Supermarket giant Asda has announced it’s cutting its fuel prices by two pence per litre. That will reduce the chain’s diesel and unleaded to 93.9p a litre across the country. Drivers should watch their local forecourts for knee-jerk rate reductions.

USING registration numbers and DVLA data, Car Parts Direct claims it can reduce delivery time on spares for Korean and Japanese imports. Owners can have parts delivered within 48 hours when they order from the www.carparts-direct.co.uk site.

ONLY one in 15 UK motorists now owns a map – down from one in five in 2002, says sat-nav firm Snooper. Its study found male drivers aged over 40 are most likely to use a road atlas, and only one driver under 25 owned a road atlas of the 290 questioned.
