Price is right for new LS

The hi-tech hybrid executive car ranges from £81,400 to £83,645 for the long-wheelbase version - pitching it directly against Mercedes' S-Class.

It's powered by a 5.0-litre diesel V8, mated to an electric motor - giving a combined 445bhp - covers 0-62mph in 6.3 seconds and returns 30.9mpg. A CVT automatic gearbox and 4WD are standard, while the cabin is hand-finished in leather and wood.
