Coupé-cabrio goes on diesel economy drive
Volvo is offering a new entry-level diesel in its C70
The 2.0-litre oil-burner, already found in the S40, V50 and C30, produces 134bhp and propels the coupé-cabriolet from 0-62mph in 11 seconds. It returns 46.3mpg and emits 161g/km of CO2.
Set to go on sale in the autumn priced £25,750, the C70 2.0D (below) will slot into the range below the five-cylinder D5 diesel. Buyers get a choice of S, Sport, SE and SE Lux trims.
