The device comes complete with a straightforward connection to your car’s cigarette lighter socket. And it can heat food and drink, as well as keep it chilled, which makes it ideal for use on the move. What’s more, the Travel Cooler is portable – it tips the scales at 3.5kg, which means you can unplug it from the car and take your meal with you.

It delivers a power output of 60 watts, and the main cooler area has a capacity of nine litres – enough for lunch for two people. Depending on your needs, it will chill to -70 degrees Centigrade or warm to 48 deg C.

Adding to the appeal, the front section incorporates two spaces for drinks – as you can never have enough cup-holders in the car. There’s a zippered pouch for storing accessories such as knives and forks, too.
