Brit Adam Carroll took his second GP2 win of the year in Hungary. The Ulsterman who only joined the Giancarlo Fisichella-owned FMS team at the French GP in June has now won two races this year. He finished second in the other GP2 event of the weekend that was running as a support race to the Hungarian GP. That race was won by Spain’s Javier Villa.

BMW’s reserve driver Timo Glock leads the championship by a single point from Renault-backed Brazilian Lucas di Grassi.
