It's four decades since Mazda first fitted a rotary engine to one of its cars, and to celebrate, the firm has built this RX-8 Rotary Engine 40th Anniversary. The marble white model has uprated suspension, special badges, 18-inch chrome wheels and a unique black and silver Alcantara cabin. Its colours pay homage to the 1967 Cosmo Sport – the company’s first ever rotary-engined car. Only 200 are being made and they are earmarked for sale in Japan, although buyers in the UK may be able to get their hands on one through a specialist importer.
