Ford has built the fastest fuel cell vehicle in the world. The highly modified US market Fusion topped an incredible 207mph at the recent Bonneville Speed Week. Called the Hydrogen 999 the high speed ecologically friendly car is the result of 10 years research and development. Under the aerodynamic bodywork is a powerful 770bhp electric motor. The ambitious project is a joint venture between the Blue Oval, powertrain experts Ballard and students at Ohio State University.
