Spyker’s F1 future is not at risk despite the financial woes of its road car manufacturer owner. But the Dutch sports car maker has confirmed that it is looking to sell some or all of its F1 operation to raise additional funds for its ailing business.

Team principal Colin Kolles said: “Spyker F1 Team Ltd is confident that it has the necessary budget to compete in the FIA Formula One World Championship this year. We will be racing in the Turkish GP and beyond.” Kolles did admit that as part of its own strategic review and refinancing strategy Spyker Cars N.V is considering the possible sale of its also-ran F1 operation.
