The Ford stand is certain to be one of the busiest at September’s
Frankfurt Motor Show. As well as
the next Fiesta, the firm is debuting the revised version of the
Focus and its all-new
Kuga off-roader.
Ford’s top-selling family hatch only arrived in 2005, but bosses aim to see off the likes of the new Nissan Qashqai with a mid-life facelift. As we revealed in Issue 969, the fresh Focus (right, top) takes cues from the S-MAX MPV, and gets various upgrades inside.
The Kuga is based on the Focus, and has a raised ride height and 4WD, plus a choice of petrol and diesel engines – including the ST’s five-cylinder turbo. It’s due on sale in the spring, from around £16,000.
