Gleaming workshop tools in the can

Give the trusty tools in your garage some TLC – tender loving cleaning!

02nd September 2007

Professional lubricant firm 3-In-One has launched two new products that aim to get your equipment back to its original appearance. Firstly, you can scrub down your kit with the Tool Cleaner. The powerful formula is capable of removing grease, oil, dirt and dust, and is perfect for tackling spanners, wrenches and pliers that have seen better days.

The solution evaporates quickly to leave a clean, residue-free surface, and the aerosol can be used on everything from metals and plastics to rubber and painted finishes. The spray is also suitable for restoring moving parts to their best, and can enhance the performance of chains and mechanical components.

To complement the cleaner, there is the Performance Tool Lubricant, which gives long-lasting protection against corrosion on power tools, as well as reducing friction and wear. The two 250ml spray cans are part of the 3-In-One Professional range, which is designed with the home mechanic in mind. They can be found at Halfords, B&Q, Focus and all good hardware stores.
