Chevrolet supermini takes its bow

There was another media frenzy this time at the Chevrolet stand for the unveiling of the Aveo. It will replace the Kalos and will be available in the UK from March 2008.

The boffins at Chevy are calling it a fastback and the supermini features the firms new horizontally split radiator grille. Two petrol engines will be available, a 1.2-litre with 84bhp and a 1.4-litre unit with a power output of 98hp.
