MG is back in the UK – and it’s gearing up for the launch of the rejuvenated Chinese owned brand.
A new official website has been launched detailing the firm’s revised TF specifications and naming the 22 UK dealers who are looking forward to taking orders.
Buyers will be able to reserve their car by the end of the year, before the up-dated TF LE500 – as the car will be badged – gets delivered to the first customers in 2008. The roadster features a restyled front end with a sporty lower grille with integral spotlights, revised twin upper air intakes, new headlights and a fresh bonnet.
Powered by a 1.8-litre 133bhp engine, the TF will return 35.8mpg and 185g/km. Further technical details will be added to mg-uk.co.uk over the next few months.
