The RK8200 has connections to play digital and analogue music, plus Bluetooth phone technology to keep you on the right side of the law.
When you get a call, the number flashes up on the 2.4-inch screen and the front speakers mute automatically. But those in the rear continue to play music for passengers.

You remove the front panel to connect your iPod or USB flash drive. But the space behind this facia isn’t wasted; there’s room to store your MP3 player or phone, and the grippy surface prevents kit sliding around and getting damaged.

The newcomer also accepts SD cards, while its internal memory can store up to 300 MP3 files and 8,000 contacts. There is even room for up to 150 voice command tags, giving speech control over a range of functions via the double microphone.

Yet all of this hasn’t come at the expense of audio quality on the set-up. Advanced noise reduction and echo cancellation give the RK8200 superb sound. Drivers needn’t worry about compatibility, either; the Parrot fits all makes and models of car and connects to any Bluetooth phone.
