What better way to celebrate 30 years of the Accord than to begin working on the sharpest version of the lot? To coincide with the anniversary of the family model, Honda set about penning its dramatic new estate, and it took the wraps off a concept version at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The study previews the production car, which debuts next summer, and Auto Express was given exclusive access to the load-lugger to get a closer look.
While the exterior looks ready for production, Honda is staying tight-lipped about the new Accord’s cabin, although it is expected to have all the user-friendly features of the current car. However, the firm has revealed that the Accord will come with one of the world’s first Euro V-compliant diesels.
Prices and specifications for the new Accord range will be announced when it goes on sale next summer.
