We have now taken the wheel of the four-door A4 for the first time, and it’s clear the new German model has a lot to offer – watch the video first drive here.
But how will the range develop? While the four-door model is already on sale, the load-lugging Avant is not set to appear until the end of next year. Like its predecessor, the estate will be more about style than out-and-out versatility. Expect it to be unveiled at one of the premier international motor shows early in 2008.
Want a drop-top? You’ll have to wait even longer. Official details are still under wraps for the new A4 convertible, but it is scheduled to arrive in showrooms in 2009.
Initially UK models will only be available in SE trim, but the popular sporty S line trim level will be available on the new saloon in June. With a bodykit and unique badging the top value variant will look even sharper than the model featured in our video.
