The Michelin Guide has built its reputation on providing the lowdown on the best restaurants and hotels. Now, all the latest, exclusive information is available at your fingertips in the new range of ViaMichelin sat-navs.

As well as providing details on where to eat and stay, each system has a number of other useful features, including five-day weather forecasts. In addition, buyers get safety camera alerts, complete with free updates which will continue for the life of the device. Upcoming traffic jam advice is also provided, while the unit incorporates an MP3 player for your digital music files.

There are five models in the ViaMichelin range, starting with the slimline X-960, which costs £139. The top-spec X-980T weighs in at £239. It features a 4.3-inch screen with five route options, as well as a double display, offering a zoom-in function on the next junction.
