It's only just been revealed, but already the new Subaru Impreza STI is set to be modified. British firm Prodrive - which runs the Japanese manufacturer's World Rally cars - has announced a raft of performance tweaks.
Marketed as the Prodrive Performance Pack it gives the newcomer a significant 100bhp power boost. This means the 2.5-litre boxer motor will push out a mighty 397bhp. Despite this huge increase in output buyers still benefit from the existing three-year warranty.
Fot those who want even sharper handling and greater stopping power then there will also be brake and suspension upgrades. Also on the menu is a number of comsetic tweaks, including bodykits and alloy wheels.
Inside owners will benefit from figure-hugging Recaro seats and standard sat-nav. Expect the various tweaks and accessories to be availble shortly after the UK launch of the car in March 2008.
