Drivers hailed as kings of the Ring
While developing its new performance car, one firm has become so fixated on Nürburgring lap times that it now rates its staff on their performance at the track!

When introducing two top drivers to a group of motoring executives, a
company boss said the head driver was good for “around seven minute thirty laps”, while his deputy was a “seven minute forty” man!

Staff stick knife into TV awards
There aren’t many televised motoring events – but we saw the magic of the small screen for ourselves at a recent awards bash.

To kick off, the harassed floor manager warned the audience of the need to keep quiet as the presenters read their lines. But as soon as the cameras started rolling, an army of waiters started to noisily clear up the cutlery... proving they weren’t the sharpest knives in the drawer.
