Nissan GT-R

Drivers queue up to buy GT-R

Nissan GT-R

09th November 2007

The wraps only came off the new Nissan GT-R a week ago, but a UK dealer has already taken more than 50 deposits.

Middlehurst of St Helens, Lancs, hasn’t got the go-ahead to sell the supercar yet. But bosses say that’s a formality given the outfit’s pedigree with the previous Skyline.

Each customer has paid £1,000 to get their GT-R at the end of next year or early in 2009. And salesmen are anticipating even more interest following its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show.
