Mansell boys sign racing deal in US

The Mansell name is to feature Stateside again, with Nigel’s sons Greg and Leo signing a deal to compete in the Atlantic ChampCar feeder series.

The pair, who contested the British Formula Three championship this year, will drive for Walker Racing. Boss Derrick Walker said: “Both are keen to graduate to the full ChampCars series in 2009.” This will be the Mansell brothers’ third year of racing.

In 2007, 20-year-old Greg (far right) was 10th overall in the British F3 series, with three third places. Leo, 22, came 17th with a best finish of sixth. Dad Nigel won the ChampCar title in 1993.
