Earpiece is comfortable, and calls are crystal clear

The quality of the VMX100 was clear as soon as we paired it with our phone – a simple one-touch affair. There’s a power button cleverly built into the hinge, and the whole earpiece feels solidly put toget her.
But it was when making calls that we felt the VMX100 really justified its hefty £100 price tag. It delivered the clearest sound we have experienced. This is down to the Voicemax system, which uses two microphones – one to emphasise your voice and the other to remove background noise such as traffic, or wind and tyre roar, when you’re chatting at the wheel.
As with many modern headsets, it can be worn on either ear, and the balljoint set-up ensures the ultra-light 15g Sennheiser is comfortable. A strong battery provides five hours of talk time and up to 100 hours on standby. Add in a choice of cigar lighter, mains or USB charging, and it’s a tempting buy for drivers who talk a lot on the go.
