Nissan reveals new GT-R price
With 2,300 orders in the bag, the Nissan GT-R has already got off to a roaring start. And it’s no wonder, as it delivers Porsche 911 Turbo pace for the price of a BMW M3. Now, the firm has announced the supercoupé will cost from $71,900 (£35,300) when it goes on sale in the US next summer. It arrives here in March 2009. UK prices won’t be announced until September, but are set to start at around £50,000.
Power boost for Brit’s diesel duo
Owners of Rover 75 and MG ZT diesels can boost performance by more than 10 per cent with the XPower upgrade, claims Rover specialist XPart. Bosses say the kit uses diagnostic equipment to raise power by 15bhp and torque by 15 per cent, and cuts the 0-60mph time by up to 10 per cent. Priced £234 plus fitting, it’s available from XPart AutoService centres or the xpart-accessories.com website.
