Ford’s luxury US brand Lincoln unveiled a hot addition to its range in LA. The MKS saloon comes with a 270bhp 3.7-litre petrol V6 that promises V8 power and torque with six-cylinder economy. It goes on sale in the States next summer, at ,985 (£18,500).
However, the new Lincoln won’t be making an appearance on these shores, now that Ford has decided not to sell Swedish subsidiary Volvo. A spokesman confirmed: “Any premium brand expansion in Britain will now be accounted for by Volvo.”
