Audi Cross Cabriolet quattro

The new rusty colour on Audi’s soft-top SUV, the Cross Cabriolet quattro, is supposed to mimic the morning sun in Los Angeles.

To mark this fact, the designers of the car – based at the firm’s Californian design studio – wanted to name the new shade Pacific Sunrise. But Audi bosses in Germany had trouble saying the first part of the name, so insisted it was changed to Copper Sunrise instead.
