Clever kit clears up toll fine mess

New device helps motorists avoid costly fines

This gadget (pictured) could help motorists avoid fines – by automatically paying tolls!

Drivers face penalties of up to £100 if they enter London’s congestion zone and forget to pay the £8 fee. The KenBuster – named after Ken Livingstone – is a GPS device that alerts a data centre to pay the charge when the zone is entered.

Priced £199.99, it was designed by motorist Matthew McCluskey, who claims Transport for London generates 30 per cent of its revenue from fines. Log on to kenbuster.co.uk for info.
