Make way for flower power... This is the first official picture of the new Koenigsegg CCXR, a 1,018bhp supercar that runs on eco- friendly biofuel.

Adding to the organic feel is a body made entirely from carbon fibre, as well as a space-age interior that features special seats filled with a natural gel to make them more supportive. Powered by a twin supercharged 4.7-litre V8 engine, the CCXR is officially a limited edition.

The Swedish firm won’t say how many it plans to build, but the car does 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds and hits 250mph. Prices will start at £1.1million when it goes on sale next year – nearly £400,000 more than the Bugatti Veyron.
