Is this the hot Mondeo that Ford fans are crying out for? It has 266bhp and shows what an official ST version of the family car could be capable of.
Painted in frost white, the modified Mondeo has a hand-finished stainless steel bonnet similar to the one found on the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé. Meanwhile, a bespoke bodykit, which is made entirely of carbon fibre, improves the aerodynamics without adding much extra weight. The front lip, roof spoiler and rear skirt also combine to give the Mondeo a more sporty look.
Big 20-inch alloy wheels, low-profile tyres, lowered suspension and twin stainless steel exhaust pipes complete the exterior styling upgrades. A reworked engine management system increases the output of the standard 2.5-litre turbocharged unit by 49bhp.
The hot Mondeo, which is produced by German tuning firm Loder1899, also has four-way adjustable suspension, which allows the driver to tailor the damper settings according to their requirements.
