Knight Rider blasts back

Knight Rider is coming back! But this time his intelligent car will be a Ford Mustang, and not a Pontiac Firebird as in the original Eighties hit TV series. The latest KITT, which in the new movie stands for Knight Industries Three Thousand, is a 540bhp 2008 Shelby GT500KR. As with the original, it features distinctive red lights on its bonnet, and of course it will be able to talk. It’s also equipped with a super-computer that can hack into any system and a body that morphs into different shapes. Fans of Michael Knight, the original series’ crimefighter, won’t be disappointed either, as David Hasselhoff makes a cameo appearance in the movie. It will be aired in the US on 17 February.
