X-Trail chills out

Nissan has released a special X-Trail which has been designed specifically for winter sports fans.

Called the Artix Sports Adventure, it’s based on Sport spec, but adds eXtreme roof rails with integrated lamps and ‘snowstorm’ running boards. Power is from the 149bhp 2.0-litre dCi, linked to an auto box. The model costs £21,995, and is on sale in January.

For an extra £1,000, there’s also an Artix eXpedition. This comes with a DVD navigation system, and the option of a 171bhp version of the same diesel engine, with a manual transmission instead.
