Driving school’s offsetting lesson
Here’s a driving school that’s top of the league tables! Catz-eye.com has become the first training firm to offset all its CO2 emissions. And learner drivers pay no more for the privilege of having zero impact on the environment. In fact, the company, based in East Lothian, is so proud of its commitment that it’s offering one free driving lesson to any new learners signing up before the end of the month.

Nip and tuck for big Citroen MPV
It’s a fresh start to the New Year for the Citroen C8. The MPV gets a subtle facelift inside and out, while a new 2.2 HDi diesel is available with SX and Exclusive models. The trademark Citroen chevron badge is enlarged at the front and rear, while there’s a revised grille. And Exclusive trim gets tinted windows, a tailgate and full leather. The new oil-burner produces 170bhp and a useful 400Nm of torque.

SsangYong signs deal to stay in UK
Struggling Korean car maker SsangYong has been handed a second chance to succeed in the UK. Distribution has been taken over by Koelliker, headed by former Kia boss Paul Williams. His firm replaces SYUK, which recently went bust. SsangYong sales here plummeted last year, with 1,299 cars finding homes. This was partly due to the top-selling Rexton 4x4 falling just outside the high Band G road tax.
