Check out Ferrari’s amazing new F430 Biofuel. Following up on a promise to address environmental issues in the supercar market, Ferrari has pulled the covers off its first ever Biofuel prototype.
Based on the F430 Spider, the supercar runs on E85 fuel which is made up of 85 per cent petrol and 15 per cent ethanol.
The good news for enthusiasts is that running on E85 the Ferrari offers even stronger performance. Complementing a five per cent drop in CO2 emissions, power is up 10 per cent while drivers also benefit from a four per cent increase in torque.
No official announcement has been made about a mainstream production version, but Ferrari is aiming to cut the emissions of its models by 40 per cent by 2012.
