The Simpsons are escaping from Springfield - in a Kangoo! In a series of three adverts, the cult animated family break out of their hometome to explore the real world.

Set to be featured in newspapers and magazines, the campaign sees Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie demonstrating the versatile nature of French newcomer.

The second generation of the van-based people carrier is set to be bigger and more refined than its predecessor. Launched at the Frankfurt show last year, the first examples should hit UK showrooms in September.

This isn't the first time the Kangoo has been advertised with a little animated help. The first generation car was seen in a number of pictures with Wallace and Gromit behind the wheel.
