Egg-cellent idea for new in-car child seat.

IT looks like a half-eaten boiled egg, but the people behind this pod (below) argue it’s the best child seat in the world.

Maker think/thing from Chicago, US, has designed the futurist chair – named nestt – as the must-have in-car accessory for style and safety-conscious parents. Unlike the boxy units currently on sale in the UK, this seat provides infant passengers with a shell-like cocoon to sit in while strapped in the back.

A simple tilt or swivel mechanism at the front, which can be operated single-handedly, allows the seat to turn and face the vehicle’s doors for easy access.

The unit even has air-suspension for maximum comfort. Side impact protection comes from a steel cage beneath the memory foam padding and washable fabric. Visit thinkthing.net for details.
